We are no longer keeping a stock of grain free diets following reports of a heart disease, called dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), developing in a small number of dogs fed exclusively grain free food. Currently the exact cause of DCM is not known and, as such, it might be safer to avoid such diets until further research is carried out and more information is available.
If you would like further information on the pros and cons of grain free diets in general, please speak to one of the clinical team. You can also read more via the UK Pet Food association.
If you wish to feed grain free food then we can still source it for you, please speak to reception to place your order. Please allow 48 hours for this.
This situation will be reviewed as more information becomes available to us. Thank you for your understanding.
