Few decisions are harder than knowing when to say goodbye. Our job is to help you feel sure of that decision and to make the moment itself as peaceful as it can be, for you and for your pet.
If you would like to talk it through ahead of time, please ring your branch. There is no rush, and there are no wrong questions.
We can arrange the appointment at the practice, in a quiet consulting room, or we can come to you at home. Either way the steps are the same.
We will give you time and a peaceful room. You can bring family members, a favourite blanket, or whatever helps.
Most pets are given a sedative first, so they drift off comfortably before the final injection. There should be no fear or distress.
An overdose of anaesthetic, given calmly. It is quick. We will explain everything as we go, or stay silent if you prefer.
You can take your pet home for burial, or we can arrange communal or individual cremation through our partner crematorium. Ashes can be returned to you in a casket or scatter tube of your choice.
A consultation fee may apply on top of the prices below if the appointment includes assessment. Out-of-hours fees apply outside normal opening hours.
